When life will finally return to a new normal, borders will open again and we will all be able to travel again, we will surely value things that used to be normal for us a year ago a lot more – moments, people and experiences. But with all the joy of travelling, meeting and entertaining with friends and family again, we will still need our very own privacy – maybe even more than we did before. So, this month’s article is about different concepts of togetherness – in a very private way.
Indulging
We’re all looking forward to meeting with people again that are dear to us. Having dinner with friends, loved ones or even business partners in a super private way is at Lithoinon Private 16, south of Athens. The very unique restaurant with only 16 seats (hence the name) in a converted garage is one of the most intimate and amazing dining experiences ever – and a well kept secret so far. Ioannis and his team take you on a culinary journey including one of the most extensive wine collections I have ever seen. Ioannis’ passion for food, fine wines, spirits and cigars comes through in every second you spend in this fine little restaurant! Every detail of the interior has been designed with love and no expense has been spared, from the walk-in humidor, the amazing wine cellar to the sound system, wine glasses and cutlery. Everything has been chosen with love and great passion. And to top it all off, Ioannis is the epitome of Greek hospitality. This little gem is definitely worth a visit. But psssst… don’t tell anyone.
Sparkling
Mary Katrantzou, the Greek-born, London-based designer, burst onto the scene in 2008 with prints that were, as Vogue put it, “almost beyond imaginable limits.”
The designer’s latest collaboration with Bulgari called “Serpenti Through the Eyes of Mary Katrantzou” interprets Bulgari’s Serpenti in her own way – by highlighting the importance of its symbolism, which dates back to Ancient Roman and Greek mythology. Mary was drawn to the idea of Metamorphosis: adapting, to continue evolving and growing. Serpenti is a symbol of transformation, healing and rebirth. Furthermore, the collection supports the work of the Naked Heart Foundation, founded by Russian supermodel Natalia Vodanova in 2004, who is also the face of the collection. If you want to snag one of her unique pieces – go ahead, you’ll be doing good and you’ll support togetherness.
Socializing

Dunes is also the name of German designer Sebastian Herkner’s outdoor collection for Gloster. A bohemian influence defines the style and the name expresses the feeling of spontaneity like the shifting of sand dunes.
