The global yachting community turns its attention to Monaco this week as the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 opens on Wednesday, 23 September, running until 26 September at Port Hercule.

2. Oyster Yachts unveils its first sailing catamaran, the C60

A new chapter has begun for Oyster Yachts with the unveiling of the Oyster C60, the British builder’s first-ever sailing catamaran.

Presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival, the 60-foot C60 has been developed in collaboration with renowned multihull designers Berret-Racoupeau, combining Oyster’s decades of bluewater sailing expertise with the space, stability and comfort associated with a multihull.

The C60 offers approximately 110 m² of connected indoor and outdoor living space, generous accommodation and a layout designed for everything from coastal cruising to extended ocean passages.

The new model represents an exciting evolution for Oyster, bringing the advantages of a sailing catamaran to the shipyard’s established bluewater philosophy.

For yacht buyers looking for greater living space, stability and long-range cruising capability, the C60 offers an interesting new option in the premium sailing yacht market.

3. 52.4m Palmer Johnson DB9 enters the yacht sales market

The 52.4m Palmer Johnson DB9 has entered the market for sale following a comprehensive refit completed in 2026.

Delivered by Palmer Johnson in 2010, the PJ 170 combines distinctive Nuvolari Lenard styling with impressive performance, reaching speeds of up to 31 knots.

Designed for both entertaining and relaxation, DB9 features extensive outdoor areas and three separate pool areas. Inside, she accommodates up to 12 guests in five en-suite staterooms, offering an exceptional combination of comfort and space.

More than €5 million has been invested in her recent refit, giving prospective owners the opportunity to acquire a substantially updated superyacht with a strong pedigree.

DB9 is available to view in Monaco from 23–26 September, with an asking price of €23.9 million.

4. Lürssen debuts 102.4m NIXIE at Monaco Yacht Show 2026

One of the most anticipated yachts at this year’s Monaco Yacht Show, Lürssen’s 102.4m NIXIE, will make her global debut at Port Hercule this week.

Designed inside and out by RWD, NIXIE combines elegant, flowing exterior lines with an extensive collection of amenities. Highlights include a striking six-metre glass swimming pool, a vast 270 m² beach club and diesel-electric propulsion supported by an advanced energy storage system.

Her Monaco debut comes at a remarkable time for Lürssen. NIXIE is the sixth superyacht delivered by the German shipyard in 2026, following ODISEA, DEEP BLUE, BOARDWALK, O3 and NAUSICAÄ.

The launch highlights the continued evolution of the superyacht sector, where sophisticated design, advanced propulsion technology and increasingly ambitious onboard spaces are becoming defining features of the latest generation of yachts.
