Let me spark your imagination with everything that makes life more beautiful, inspires and lets us dream away. Very personal and very authentic. Some things already experienced, some are still on my bucket list. Let’s prepare ourselves inside and out for the coming travel season – which will certainly be a little different from what we’ve been used to – but which definitely holds exciting new opportunities. Especially in the yacht charter sector, which makes our clients’ wishes for adventures in a safe environment come true, surrounded by the people who matter the most, in exotic and dreamlike places, with the best of Haute Cuisine that make the taste buds dance.
BOOSTING
And now that spring is already knocking quietly at the door, it is time to support the body with the best supplements there are. In addition to celery juice and turmeric-ginger shots, which are currently back on my schedule, the Starter Pack of Lyma is not only super stylish, but also provides the body with all important nutrients. Let energy awaken with spring at the door.

REVIVING
Of course, a sunny ski week would be a must this month. But these days, I just daydream myself to the wintry Austrian Leogang – with a spa treatment, a dip in the outdoor pool with stunning panoramic views of the Alps or a Wiener Schnitzel in the evening in one of the luxurious chalets of the Priesteregg mountain resort. Very private and very well catered to. A great tip is to be one of the first up on the mountain in the morning and, after a few runs, have breakfast with scrambled ostrich egg at the Hendl Fischerei on the mountain top. But those who know me know that you’re more likely to meet me there a little later for a well-chilled glass of champagne. Of course, a sunny ski week would have been nice this winter. Well, I just daydreamed myself to the wintry Austrian Leogang – with a spa treatment, a dip in the outdoor pool with stunning panoramic views of the Alps or a Wiener Schnitzel in the evening in one of the luxurious chalets of the Priesteregg mountain resort. Very private and very well catered to. With temperatures rising, a walk in the alpine landscape or some outdoor yoga will rejuvenate the soul and uplift the spirits.
INDULGING
Speaking of spirits – my absolute must-have this summer is a Hermes Sour with Kleos Mastiha on one of the magical 3,000 islands of Greece or at one of my favourite destinations, the Athenian Riviera, with its beautiful coastline, glamorous restaurants and bustling bars.
Hermes Sour
40ml basil and lemon infused Kleos Mastiha*
15ml Domaine Sigalas Prickly Pear
15ml homemade camomile syrup
25ml fresh lemon juice
lemon dust
aromatic bitters
*Mastiha is a Greek liqueur made on the island of Chios. It is flavoured with the oil or resin from the indigenous mastic tree and much prized by Greek barmen.
Located perfectly set on a hillside underneath shady pine trees you’ll find Ithaki Restaurant with an amazing menue and magical views of the Riviera coast with passing yachts and the Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel right across the bay.

For a little Athenian Riviera atmosphere on the coffee table, you may want to treat yourself with a copy of the matching Assouline book.

WEARING
Of course, a dress of Australian fashion lable Zimmermann can not be missed in my suitcase. The designs are stunning, very feminine, very summery and just “loooove”.

VOYAGING
New travel apps that sound quite interesting are: Global Monitoring, which warns of everything from severe weather alerts to crises or strikes, and Timeshifter, which helps minimise jet lag – be it by recommending a power nap or a cup of coffee to stay awake. And the perfect way to explore the hotspots of the islands in style while cruising the Greek Sea on a superyacht, is the brand new Vespa 946 Christian Dior – including matching accessories.

History, style, dreams and dolce vita – just what we all need right now!
Have a lovely beginning of spring!
