Entourage: Second Amels 60 Limited Editions delivered

The second hull in Amels’ new line of 60-metre Limited Editions superyachts has been delivered and christened EntourageFormerly known as Project Witchcraft, the yacht departed Damen Yachting’s Vlissingen shipyard yesterday (19 February) after completing sea trials.

The yacht is the second Limited Editions 60 designed in collaboration with Espen Øino. While the first hull in the series, Come Together, features distinctive geometric windows that are set to be an Amels 60 signature, the team has customised Entourage to include long strips of glazing that allow additional light into the interior.

Canada-based design studio Burdifilek is responsible for the yacht’s interior, using a monochrome colour palette to create a “serene” onboard ambience. Speaking on the collaboration, designer Diego Burdi said: “This unique opportunity led us on a journey of exploration where every design aspect of the yacht was considered at the highest level of execution.” The interiors are “a playground of timeless elegance, ultimate comfort, and a sense of peace,” he added.

Entourage has a gross tonnage of 830 GT with accommodation for 12 guests and 12 crew, plus captain’s quarters. The owner’s suite has its own unfolding balcony and the sundeck stretches over 162 square metres. Elsewhere, the tender garage in the foredeck offers space for a nine-metre tender.

The project was sold by Moran Yacht & Ship and represents the seventh collaboration between Amels and the brokerage and management firm. She will now be available for private yacht charters with Moran Yacht & Ship.

Sean Moran called Entourage a “tremendous achievement”. He added: “We look forward to many more successful projects with the Damen Yachting organszation in the future.”

Entourage is powered by an IMO Tier III compliant hybrid propulsion system, which Damen Yachting calls “the advanced guard of a new generation of yachting”.

Arie Midavaine, project manager at Damen Yachting added: “It’s been great to see how all parties involved have pulled together and given so much effort during this busy project. The result of their work speaks for itself; the yacht looks stunning. We hope that the owner will enjoy stepping on board for the first time this spring.”
