Golden Yachts teams up with Phathom Studio to reveal 65m concept Vesper
October 18, 2023

Vesper’s design is tailored to suit the evolving preferences of a new generation of yacht owners. These buyers lean towards a more laid-back and unpretentious style of yacht usage, particularly with their family and friends. Consequently, the layout has been revamped, with designers ingeniously working with light and space to cultivate a more unified atmosphere on board. Extensive glass surfaces have been incorporated to flood the interior with natural light, creating a harmonious blend with the serene blue tones within the interior design.

The design of the model focuses on creating a yacht that feels more like an architectural home than a typical 65-meter superyacht. The accommodation layout includes of five evenly sized cabins on the lower deck and an extra VIP cabin on the upper deck. The owner’s suite, extending across two stories, features individual en suite bathrooms for both, a spacious wardrobe, and an open lounge area seamlessly linked to a study. A private balcony accessed via pantograph doors, which unveils an infinity-edge spa pool, a captivating rock water element, and a welcoming outdoor lounge area.

Regarding the sundeck, it will serve as the spot for the sauna and steam room, providing guests with the chance to relish scenic views through generous glass windows. Something entirely distinct we would say from the typical and conventional encountered. In addition to this, there is a more extensive wellness space that includes the entire enclosed section of the sundeck. It can be arranged in various ways, like setting up a gym, a daytime kitchen, or a juice bar. Moving forward, there will be a private sundeck section equipped with an infinity-edge spa pool and a spacious space for sunbathing.

In contrast to the typical mirrored layout, the main deck will be divided into several friendly areas to foster a more relaxed atmosphere, enabling guests to disperse among themselves while still sharing the same space or gather together. This distinction between private and communal areas also extends to the beach club, where there will be a substantial infinity-edge pool, separated by a “glass wall with a pool bar” that links swimmers to the guests in the beach club.

The technology preferences have also been taken into account. Human-centric lighting is added which involves in adjusting the color temperature and intensity of artificial lighting to correspond with the changing quality and quantity of daylight, creating a more comfortable and biologically supportive indoor environment.
Moreover, there will be provisions for an extensive array of water-based recreational equipment, including two three-seater Waverunners. The yacht is designed to accommodate two tenders: one, with a length exceeding seven meters, is located in the beach area for guest use, and a discreetly placed six-meter SOLAS-approved tender is situated under the foredeck. Additionally, there is the possibility of having two extra tenders positioned atop the bow.
